Welcome to the 2019 Yorkshire Salsa Congress, being brought to you by Salsa Unity and Karen ‘Salsa’ McQuire on October 11 – October 14, 2019.

Yorkshire Salsa Congress is aiming to be one of the biggest and best salsa weekenders in the North of England, uniting International Dancers, Teachers, Performers and DJs on the UK stage. The event is taking place at the fabulous UNITY HALL in Wakefield and on the Sunday Evening only at the Fabulous Night Spot CLUB NOCTURNO just 25 metres over the road will host the Closing Night until 5am.

Headline artists this year include  - Sean Babatunde, Jessica Patella, Samuel and Lisa and the unmissable Captain Salsa from Poland, along with many more great names, DONT MISS OUT..

Yorkshire Salsa Congress was founded by Karen ‘Salsa’ McQuire in 2015. Karen started dancing in 2013 and quickly became hooked on not only the dance its self but her love and passion for the music.

Karen says: “I am PASSIONATE about Salsa and all things related. I am not a teacher, nor am I an old veteran of this wonderful scene – but I AM a complete addict and in my endeavors to satisfy the local needs for more events I decided to bring the kind of Workshops and Teachers we crave to our very own region.”
